Day 2 Recap: Pool Play Ends, Bracket Play Begins in Omaha

Omaha, NE - Friday marked the end of pool play at the 2025 Pathway Omaha event, setting the stage for championship bracket matchups across both divisions. Some teams locked in top seeds with statement wins. Others battled to stay alive. Every pitch carried weight, and every inning shaped the road ahead.

Now, it's bracket baseball — where execution matters, and the margin for error disappears.

Underclass Division: Depth, Balance, and a Wide-Open Field
Friday showcased just how deep this underclass field really is. Several teams closed out pool play with dominant performances, while others clawed their way into Sunday with grit.
  • RSP 15/16's capped off an unbeaten run with a 17-run showing against Natural Baseball Colorado. Their offense continues to apply pressure from top to bottom.
  • Clubhouse 805 put up 19 runs in a statement win, finishing 2–1 and proving they can score in bunches.
  • Eagles Baseball Club turned in arguably the most complete pool round: 3–0 record, just 2 runs allowed, and 42 scored. They enter bracket play as the No. 1 seed.
  • Kalispell Sluggers 15U also went undefeated, with a 37–6 run differential and a disciplined style that travels well.
  • Elevate NW 15U - Bardue finished quietly at 3–0, relying on clean baseball and two-way execution.
  • Seattle Select's older 15U group posted a perfect record, while Seattle Select 15U and Indy Sharks 15U battled through tough Day 2 results.
Teams like Regis Jesuit RedAPI Academy PA, and Baseball 101 earned their bracket spots by grinding out every inning — and now have a shot to keep playing on Monday.

This bracket is loaded. A few teams look built for a deep run, but history shows anything can happen on Day 3.

Upperclass Division: Separation at the Top, Competitive Across the Board
Friday's upperclass games brought clarity. The top-tier teams made their presence felt — and earned their seeds with strong, consistent play.
  • BlueChip-Barela handled business with two decisive wins, including a 14–2 showing against Mavericks Baseball. Their roster looks ready for bracket pressure.
  • Flames Baseball Club allowed just one run all day, finishing pool play 3–0 with a style built on efficiency and execution.
  • Seattle Select Black posted back-to-back double-digit wins to claim the No. 3 seed — athletic, balanced, and trending up.
  • Wow Factor West Coast and Dallas Tigers NE 2026 secured the top two seeds with consistent, no-doubt performances. Wow Factor closed with a 13-run win, while the Tigers controlled every phase of the game all weekend.
The upperclass bracket is stacked with experienced programs who know how to win. Sunday will test how well they adjust when the pressure hits.
