Pathway Baseball continues to innovate and evolve in its wheelhouse of 15u-18u baseball, with further growth in one event likely to be fueled by the addition of two Major League Baseball spring complexes.
Â
The
Pathway Arizona Championships will be held Sept. 15-18, 2022, expecting to again draw some of the nation's most competitive club programs in a four-game guarantee with multiple college coaches tracking the action. Waiting for them will be access to three separate facilities used by MLB teams for Spring Training in the greater Phoenix area – Peoria Sports Complex (the event's original hub) and the newly added complexes in Maryvale and Scottsdale.
Â
The San Diego and Seattle franchises anchor their spring action in Peoria; Milwaukee plays at Maryvale and San Francisco calls Scottsdale its preseason home. The Pathway events will roll out on 18 separate big-league fields and two stadiums, marking the first time a tournament provider has secured space on three MLB locations for a single event.
Â
"We have worked hard to build these relationships and adding the Brewers and Giants complexes allows us to take more top-level teams and continue our vision of making this our national event," said
Gino Grasso, Pathway Baseball director. "Having this opportunity in a baseball mecca like Phoenix will continue to open doors for more exposure for these players looking to make it to the next level, and we will also be expanding the invitational division of the Arizona event, which added another depth of skill level for college coaches to assess."
Â
Pathway Baseball, a division of Triple Crown Sports, is dedicated to building and executing premium, intimate events that will allow true exposure for the players while always working to make sure college coaches are in one location throughout the event, at top level facilities.
Â
"Pathway Baseball has provided countless opportunities for our players to get seen over the years," said Michael McDermott, founder and director of the MAC Elite club program. "However, they have outdone themselves with the Pathway Invitational. Each and every year they provide a better platform for our players, and we look forward to the 2022 season."
