I am the oldest of 4 and come from a big Italian family with a lot of cousins, aunts and uncles. Our family gatherings were always eventful. I have twin 22-year old daughters. Courtney is a fitness manager and personal trainer and Caitlyn is a head chef. I grew up between Salida, CO and Baltimore, MD and was able to experience small town culture and big city east coast growing up.Â

Sports Background (proudest moment and most humbling defeat):
I am a baseball lifer from the first time I picked up a ball. From playing for 20 plus years to building my own organization from 2007-2015, running my pitching academy from 2015-2017 to building events for others to follow their dreams.Â
So many proud moments in my baseball career, but I would have to say in 2001 when I signed my pro contract with the Johnstown Johnnies (PA) of the Independent Frontier League. I remember that day in vivid detail and all the work it took on that journey to get there.Â
Biggest defeat was losing the Colorado State Championship game in 1995 after throwing a 1-hitter. We were from a small farm town going into the final 4 and faced all teams from Denver so we had a lot to be proud of. We went 20-2 that season and I was named Colorado Pitcher of the Year.Â
I also remember the first day of college baseball practice and how proud I was to be playing at that level. I was the first person from my town to ever play college ball. So many good memories playing at the collegiate level.Â
Hobbies/Outside Interests:
Love going to concerts, riding my beach cruiser bike, cooking, watching documentaries, weekend breakfast with my daughters and taking my dogs to the river.Â
Favorite trip taken as a child or adult:
Too many to list. I have been fortunate to travel all over with the game of baseball. However, my favorite place to go to get a break from everything is Newport Beach, CA.Â
How did you find or first become associated with Triple Crown?
I knew about TC from guys I played college ball with but didn't really know much about it until 2015 when I had my pitching academy and was coaching kids that played in TC events.Â
What intrigues you the most about Triple Crown?
That we get to build amazing events for youth athletes to show their skills and compete at the highest level. This company truly believes in their values and it shows in the people that work here and produce events. We are blessed to do what we do and to pursue our passion well after our playing days have passed us by.Â
