Pathway Baseball - Triple Crown

Beerman

Trevor Beerman

Trevor Beerman enters his first year with the University of Charleston Baseball coaching staff during the 2021 season.

Prior to his arrival at Charleston, Beerman served as an assistant for Hillsdale College during the Fall of 2020 where he dealt with recruiting operations as well as the outfield.

Before Hillsdale, Beerman spent a two-year stint at Bluffton University, serving as an assistant baseball coach at the Division III school in Bluffton, Ohio. During his time with the Beavers, Beerman served as the team's infield/outfield and hitting coach and was active in all day-to-day operations with the program.

Bluffton was Beerman's first post-graduate job after a four-year career with Malone from fall 2014 to May 2018. A right-handed pitcher for the Pioneers, Beerman was an important reliever for Malone during his senior season, pitching in 12 games and not allowing a run in eight of his appearances. During his time with the Pioneers' varsity squad, Malone finished runner-up in the G-MAC twice and made two G-MAC tournament appearances.

While playing at Malone, Beerman also spent a year as president and head coach of the Columbus Storm travel baseball organization in 2016-17 and has spent the last three years as the head coach and Assistant Director of Recruiting, Scouting and Tournaments for the Midwest Marlins 16U and 17U travel teams, helping over 100 high school prospects earn spots in over 40 different collegiate programs, with many also receiving academic and athletic scholarships.

Beerman graduated from Canal Winchester High School in Canal Winchester, Ohio, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Sports Management from Malone, and an MBA from Bluffton University.
