Kyle Davis

Kyle Davis

Kyle Davis begins his first season as an assistant coach for Lamar Community College. As an assistant, his primary focus will be on the pitching, a position he has aspired to since he was young. Kyle brings with him a background of a strong and winning college career at Colorado Mesa University, a summer season in the Northwoods league for the St. Cloud Rox, and several years of coaching high school and youth players with one of the premier baseball training facilities in region.

As a strong contributor to the CMU program, Kyle started 38 games, pitched 241 innings, faced 1,071 batters, ended his college career with a win-loss record of 24-1 and is honored to have been named to the CMU Baseball All-Decade Team.

Kyle held the CMU record for most wins by a pitcher from 2014-2019, and as of 2022 he also ranks in the top 10 for other pitching statistics including most games started, highest winning percentage, lowest ERA, game appearances, fewest walks and most strikeouts looking. He was nameed to the 2013-2014 RMAC All-Tournamen team and as of the 2016 publication he held the RMAC 3rd place record for individual career wins.Â
