Drew Wold

Drew Wold is OJC’s new Head Baseball coach. Drew served as assistant baseball coach for the 2017-18 and 2019-20 seasons. With Chris Carrillo’s transition from head baseball coach to athletic director, Drew also served as interim head baseball coach before becoming the new head coach. Drew is an alumni of Otero Junior College receiving his Associate of Science in May, 2012 as well as playing baseball for the Rattlers. He completed his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Economics and Finance from Adams State University in December, 2014.

He has numerous coaching experiences including his most recent as the assistant baseball coach at ASU working with hitters and outfielders. As Head Coach, Drew wants to help OJC’s student athletes grow and mature athletically and academically, positioning them to accomplish the goals they wish to achieve. Coach Wold believes in creating an atmosphere where students can learn to be their best self both on and off the field.

In his spare time Wold enjoys spending time with his wife Hailey and their two daughters, Graylin and Emma. He enjoys being outdoors and going hunting deer, elk, and waterfowl. He also looks forward to time spent with his family and friends on his family ranch in southwestern Nebraska.
