Dave Deutschman is going into his 4th full season as head coach of the program. Coach Deutschman is dedicated to moving current student-athletes each year onto 4-year Institutions. Coach Deutschman had previously been the head coach for Three Rivers AAA American Legion (Florence, OR) where he had the privilege of helping guide players to making decisions about college including Oregon State University All-American and 2017 MLB 4th round draft selection, Jake Thompson. Coach Deutschman has also been an assistant coach at Central High School (Independence, OR) and Harrisburg High School (Harrisburg, OR). Coach Deutschman earned his B.A. degree in Business from Western Oregon University and his Master’s degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University of Irvine. Mr. Deutschman also teaches Health and PE courses at Southwestern Oregon CC. Skip and his staff have moved dozens of players onto 4 years school all across the country to all levels including Power 5 Conferences (PAC-12, ACC).
Coach Deutschman currently resides in Coos Bay, OR with wife Malia and son Duke.
