Brian Valentine is in his fifth year as a member of the Linfield baseball coaching staff. He assists with recruiting, outfielders and hitting instruction, along with coaching the junior varsity program.

A Vancouver, Washington native, Valentine graduated from Skyview High School where he was a two-time all-league player while helping the Storm to the program’s first and only state championship.

Valentine attended and played at Yakima Valley College before transferring to Linfield.Â

He started his coaching career at McMinnville High School where he worked with hitters and infielders. Along with coaching at Linfield, he was a member of the West Coast League's Kelowna Falcons coaching staff in the summer of 2018. Valentine helped guide the Falcons to the West Coast League Championship Series where he primarily worked with hitters.
