Pitching Coach Vince Connor is in his first season at Lincoln University.
Over the past 14 seasons he has been at five high schools including the past two years as the Head Coach at Westwood High School. He was also at Bamberg Ehrhardt and Colleton County where he served as the JV Head coach and varsity head assistant focused on the pitching staff. During that time pitchers posted career bests in ERA, saw healthy growth in velocity, strike percentage and career lows in walks per 7, runs allowed and pitches per 7.
Connor graduated from Coker College where he spent two seasons n their collegiate baseball team before a non-sports injury ended his playing career. The Dorchester, South Carolina native lettered in four sports while attending St. George High School; baseball, football, track and weightlifting. He was All Region in Baseball in 1995 and 1996 in baseball and was a state qualifier in the 3200 and 1600 meter races in track. He graduated from St. George in 1996
Coach Connor is coming from Blythewood, South Carolina where his wife Jamie, and daughters Katherine and Madeline currently reside.
