Bryan Hodge joined the Eastern baseball staff in 2022 from Penn State Behrend and enters his first as an assistant coach. Before coming to Eastern, he was an assistant coach at NCAA Division III East Texas Baptist University and Houghton University. His duties at Eastern include working with catchers and hitters.

Hodge brings NCAA Division III and summer baseball league coaching experience to Eastern. His collegiate summer ball coaching experience came in the New York Collegiate Baseball League where he coached the Genesee Rapids. He also spent three summers coaching 17U high school teams in Colorado and Texas. He is also an NCSF Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Playing collegiately as a four-year starter for Houghton College, Hodge earned All-Empire 8 Conference second-team honors in his senior year along with being named the Sportsman of the Year. The captain of his team in his final season, he hit a career-best .327 with a .402 on-base percentage. He finished his career playing 115 games, which is third-best all-time at Houghton.

Hodge graduated from Houghton College in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and a minor in business communications. He earned a master's degree in kinesiology from East Texas Baptist University in 2021.
