?? Walk-Up Song: Obsessed – Mariah Carey

?? Notable Strengths:

  • Offense: High-contact hitter with the ability to place the ball strategically based on the game situation.
  • Defense: Skilled at framing pitches and taking pride in the details of catching.

?? Favorite Baseball Memory:
Playing 8U travel ball in my first tournament in Idaho. We finished second place, and even though we lost in the championship, I was the only player to score a run for my team. That was the moment I knew baseball was my game.

?? Favorite MLB Player:
Adley Rutschman

?? Mental Preparation Before a Game:
During warmups, I like to step away on my own, stretch, and take a moment to visualize how I want the game to go.

?? Approach to Training & Conditioning:

  • Baseball-specific weight training
  • Speed and agility work
  • Nutritional discipline
  • Focus on perfecting the mechanics of both hitting and catching to build muscle memory

?? Handling Setbacks & Failures:
I remind myself that setbacks are temporary and trust my work ethic to push through challenges.

?? Staying Motivated Throughout the Season:
I keep the perspective that I am playing the greatest game in the world and understand that my time on the field is a privilege, not a guarantee.

?? Leadership Qualities:
I am a steady, positive presence on the team. No matter what happens, I believe we are always in the game until the last out. I don't let the highs get too high or the lows get too low, which helps keep the team grounded.

?? Hobbies Outside of Baseball:

  • Hunting & fishing
  • Playing basketball, football, and golf
  • Spending time with friends

?? Educational Goals:
Play Division 1 baseball while earning a four-year degree.

?? Favorite Thing About Playing Baseball:
I love how baseball is an individual sport within a team setting. The strategy, the challenge, and playing in different ballparks make the game special. Plus, the friendships I've made along the way are invaluable.

?? Advice for Young Players Aspiring to Play at My Level:
Don’t get too down on yourself after a bad game. Looking back, I wasted too much energy being hard on myself. Focus on what you can control, move forward, and keep grinding.

?? College Baseball Aspirations:
I want to earn my degree while playing at the highest level possible. My goal is to perform well enough in college to get an opportunity at the next level.
