What are your most notable strengths as a player?
Hitting for power to all fields. Receives and blocks well. Strong throwing arm (average pop time 1.8-1.9).


What is your favorite baseball memory?
My first high school home run during freshman year at Heritage High School.

Patrick Bailey


How do you prepare mentally before a game?
Positive self-talk, breath work, spend 5 minutes thinking about my approach and what to do when failure or setbacks happen, and visualizing what success looks like on the field.


What is your approach to training and conditioning?
Prioritizing sleep and nutrition. Baseball-specific weight training 5 days a week. Plyometrics, regular physical therapy, and mobility work weekly.


How do you handle setbacks and failures on the field?
Settle my mind and body. Positive self-talk. Remind myself that I’ve put in the work, and I will succeed.


How do you stay motivated throughout a long season?
I remind myself there is always an end goal, either personally or for the team. My love for the game and the grind that comes with it keeps me motivated.


What leadership qualities do you bring to the team?
I am a vocal, positive leader, focused on the process.


What are your hobbies outside of baseball?
Working out, hiking, coaching youth baseball, and being actively involved in my church and community.


What are your educational goals?
I want to earn a degree at a 4-year university.


What is your favorite thing about playing baseball?
My favorite thing about playing baseball is being able to share the game with my family. I also love the intensity and physicality of the game.


What advice would you give to a young player aspiring to play at your level?
Always keep grinding no matter what. Be mentally tough, love the game, and trust the process.

I want to play at a 4-year university.
