Walk-Up Song:

Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma by Luke Combs

Notable Strengths as a Player:
My strongest attribute is game awareness. As a catcher, I focus on every detail of the game, communicating with my teammates and coaches. Whether it's directing where the ball should go, analyzing the other team's approach, or noticing mechanical mistakes in our pitchers, I aim to help the team in every way I can. On offense, I adjust to the situation and approach the plate with the same level of awareness.

Favorite Baseball Memory:
As a player, it was beating the #3 seed in our play-in game to qualify for state. As a fan, watching my San Francisco Giants win 3 World Series titles was an unforgettable experience.

Favorite MLB Player:
Buster Posey from the San Francisco Giants – his leadership and composure behind the plate are qualities I admire and strive to emulate.

Mental Preparation Before a Game:
I focus on understanding the opposing team and evaluate what energy we need to bring to our dugout. I prepare myself to be mentally engaged and ready for the game ahead.

Approach to Training and Conditioning:
I train with the goal of improving each day. I aim to master my game without overexerting myself, always pushing to be better than the next player.

Handling Setbacks and Failures:
I approach setbacks by learning from them, making necessary adjustments, forgetting the mistake, and moving forward with a positive mindset.

Staying Motivated Throughout a Long Season:
I remind myself that there’s always more baseball ahead. I make sure to give 100% effort in every plate appearance and fielding opportunity, no matter how long the season gets.

Leadership Qualities I Bring to the Team:
I keep the energy flowing through the team, staying positive behind the plate and in the dugout. I focus on lifting my teammates up and keeping their heads high, especially during tough moments.

Hobbies Outside of Baseball:
I’m an altar server at my church and a little league umpire. Outside of that, I focus my energy on preparing for the upcoming baseball season.

Educational Goals:
I work hard to keep my grades up, ensuring that I’m learning in a productive way and staying on top of my studies so I don’t fall behind.

Favorite Thing About Playing Baseball:
I love the game. Regardless of awards, I run onto the field every time, soaking in every moment because I don’t want to take it for granted. I’m grateful for the ability and opportunity to play a game I’ve loved since childhood. Baseball is a team sport, and there’s nothing better than playing with family and friends.

Advice to Young Players Aspiring to Play at My Level:
Know why you love baseball, and always remember that the game is meant to be enjoyed. If you want to go far, you need to love the game, not feel forced into it.

College Aspirations Regarding Baseball:
I’m passionate about college baseball. It’s the prime time ball that every kid dreams of. I want to be in that competitive, passionate atmosphere and be part of that experience.
