Cameron Jimenez

Cameron Jimenez, in his third season at ECC, was named the interim head baseball coach at Ellsworth after Samuel Vega left to take a position in the Baltimore Orioles organization.  A native of Los Angeles, California, Jimenez arrived at Ellsworth after two seasons in the MEAC at Delaware State University in Dover, Delaware. While at Delaware State, Jimenez served as the Volunteer Assistant Coach while also assisting with Baseball Operations. Jimenez was responsible for working with the outfielders and hitters.  Jimenez served as an assistant coach (2014-2016) at Lake Land CC in Mattoon, Illinois, and Cornell College (2012-2014) 

Jimenez played college baseball at: Los Angeles City College in Los Angeles, California, in 2009; Cerritos CC in Norwalk, California, in 2010; and Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa, in 2011.  He graduated from Cornell in 2012, Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. In 2016, he earned his Masters of Science from Eastern Illinois University in Kinesiology & Sports Studies with an emphasis in Sports Administration.Â
